12.09.03 The Honorary Title just finished recording their first album with producer Roger Moutenot (Yo La Tengo, Sleater Kinney, Beulah). It will be released on Doghouse Records in early 2004.

The Honorary Title is Jarrod Gorbel. He fleshes his beautiful songs out with sparse instrumentation, leaving his voice and songwriting skills to carry the flag. Brings to mind Jeff Buckley on several occasions, but somehow even more personal, more real. He's toured with Dashboard Confessional, and currently on tour with The Movielife. His live show is both fun and mesmerizing. A true performer.
